Emily Shank is a Long Island–based artist and educator specializing in live wedding painting. With a background in equestrian art, Emily has developed a keen eye for movement, gesture, atmosphere, and the fleeting moments that make a scene come alive. These same skills guide her approach to wedding painting, where she works in real time to capture the energy and emotion of a celebration as it unfolds.

Serving couples throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, from the North Shore to the East End, Emily brings her live painting experience to weddings at many of Long Island’s most beautiful venues, including Larkfield, Water’s Edge, Flowerfield, The Watermill, Oheka Castle, de Seversky Mansion, and Royalton Mansion.

Her paintings transform meaningful moments into one-of-a-kind works of art, preserving not just what the day looked like, but the feeling of being there.
